MASAM: Advancing Aerospace Production with Trusted CAM Solutions
MASAM evolved from its origins in cutting tool manufacturing to support demanding aerospace, automotive and engineering applications through high-precision chip machining. Producing critical aluminium components for aerospace required micron-level accuracy, very high feed rates and complete trust in the machining software to prevent errors and tool damage.
To meet these challenges, MASAM selected ARKANCE as its technology partner. ARKANCE implemented PowerMill to ensure secure machining, excellent surface quality and fast CNC programming, enabling MASAM to machine complex aerospace parts with confidence. Fusion was also introduced as a cloud-based solution for simpler parts and workshop programming, providing flexibility, advanced simulation and cost efficiency. The implementation was supported by ARKANCE through training, postprocessor fine-tuning and ongoing technical support.
